Bought this as an everyday usage trainer for colder months. It does and more, you can use it for everyday walking which is what the intended use is but over that I have used it for gym usage, wearing casually around, traveling, and it stands up to every occassion. It has a high comfort level, your feet just feel natural, the thermal insole gives you that added bit of protection. The leather outer and merino wool sock liner also make you feel that your feet are really protected. It's not a proper rain wear type trainer but I'm sure it can handle a drizzle well enough.
