I'm going to be honest here: this was hard to set up. The instructions are written in the smallest text possible, and very hard to understand. Here's the simple way: To charge, plug in into a USB hub/square/input. I use my computer USB input. Plug it so the tracker face is down. The face of the tracker is small with small characters. You cannot see it easily in daylight outside. Charged it will start up and give you some of your vitals on the screen, but not all. Steps, mileage, cal burn, temp, heart rate, even blood pressure, blood oxygen, distance readings (walk, run, bike, hiking), "More" gives you a stop watch. It is in more where you will find the "find phone" to connect to your phone. Also, in more is your bluetooth readout, power off and reset. All other readings are on your phone or must be set up on your phone. They seem close to reality, but the sleep readings include the day activity which it should not.Pairing the tracker to the phone is a bear. It took a long time and didn't seem to work for a long while. Watch the video to understand how, but basically download Runmifit app, connect on your blue tooth (mine comes up as S5-257F). On the app, go to Add Device in the device option, then on the phone, go to More to Find Phone. Now this is important, DO NOT HAVE YOUR PHONE IN SILENT MODE. Tracker will not pair with phone with silent on (which I have on on all the time). Once phone is added, press find phone and the phone should ring. If the tracker only buzzes it is not paired. I had to do this severel times, but it did pair. It will take a long time for tracker to share info with phone, but eventually it did and I was even able to link it to Apple Heath. Also in Device, in Notifications you can set it to alert you to texts and calls. Also QQ, FB, Wechat, Twitter, What's App, Insta, Linkedin, Messsager, Skype and Line (I didn't use any of them). The things you can track from app: goal steps, sports modes changes (I changed out hiking for yoga), drink water reminder, women's health (to log periods, moods, symtoms, sex activity). In "Me" you can add personal stats like height/weight, add family member trackers, and most importantly in System Setup you can change readings for lbs. and temps to fahrenheit (good for US).Here's what I don't like: SCREEN DOES NOT FIT FACE and is very small, no matter what face you pick for the time it's hard to read. It only reads in 24 hour clock mode, so unless you have militray training you may not understand what time it is (or you can use the clock face, but it's so small and hard to read that I gave up). Only the original screen and the stats readout screen (which is so small you can't recognize or read vitals) have a charge indicator. When using the drink reminder, you can't indicate how much you drank from the tracker, you must enter into app. Text and call notifications are tiny and impossible to read text. There's no control for sleep mode on app so you cannot adjust it to not read sitting as light sleep when you first wake up (it will correct the next day so yesterday reads somewhat proper, but adding some light sleep after you awake up and sit.Overall, for the price it's pretty good. I didn't feel like I was ready to commit to an apple watch yet and I wanted something to track heart rate. I like the drink reminded, but wish you could indicate that you did drink and how much on the tracker and not have to do so on the app. I just set the sedentary reminder so I'll see how that goes. You do have to re-pair after charging, but it will eventually synch itself. I wish you could set more goals than just steps. I'm not sure how long it will actually work, but I will keep it charged regularly.Probably a good buy for those who don't want to spend the apple watch money as of yet. I tried a family member's apple watch first and obviously there's a big difference, but for the time being I'll stick with this until it stops working. And one more thing: tech support is TERRIBLE. It may just be the language barrier, but they do not seem to understand when you can't get the watch to pair at all. They never once told me about the silence mode issue with pairing. I got that from another buyer (thank you!) on this page's questions. When they respond they simply repeat their instructions and with pleasantries. Things obviously get lost in the translation. And their instruction video is tiny, seeming to only be meant to view on a phone, not a computer. They need to give some instructions on the "Me" of the app so that buyers understand where to change system setup for US standards on mileage and and temp.Purchased start of last school year, great choice. I'm glad with decision.I actually have bought this watch two times cause I lost it so I bought it againI researched carefully and bought this item to replace my Garmin. The Garmin was not in my budget. I've changed my mind. You get what you pay for. This tracker loses about 2 minutes every 2 weeks and has to be shut down and repaired with my (brand new) Samsung phone.Screen stays black until you touch it which is fine except you have to keep tapping to run through its entire sequence to get back to the time. VERY annoying especially when you look, touch and realize the ambient light around you is interferring with being able to read the screen, so you move or cover it with your other hand to provide shade...but have to run through the entire set of items to get back to the time, or your steps, or anything you are interested in monitoring. It does have several faces you can select from but the only one that shows date AND time shows the time nice an large font, but the date is so tiny that it can barely be seen even indoors.I'm annoyed that even though it is has bluetooth compatiblity, the temperature feature I grew to rely on my Garmin for, does not exist on this watch. The only way this wrist piece is effective is if you basically just want to look on your phone for the health reading summaries. I do not. I want the watch part to work! Oh...it still functions after I shower and the battery life is long (it SHOULD be, it doesn't do much else!)I tried complaining to the seller but they never responded. My recommendation is to skip this one. Wish I had.My daughter is 11 and she wears this watch constantly. The battery lasts a long time. She uses it to track her steps and when she runs. It is holding up well. Our only complaint is that it is impossible for us to take the band off in order to charge it . Her dad is the only one who can pop it off. Is that normal?Bought this for my older mom. She wanted the look more than the function. It looks great, bought her a second one because they just don't last long. First thing to go is the grey paint then the way it is built causes the band to eventually get really worn from taking it on and off to charge it.Everything in this little thing. First time using and I'm impress. Going to be using more so may give another review again later.Love it
